Two are better than one! On this second day of the WBFSH Studbooks Jumping Global Champions Trophy’s competition, the couple DHF Alliance (Douglas x Lux) and Commandant Geoff Curran did it again and claimed the first position in the CSIYH2* for 8-year-olds with a perfect round in 66.82 seconds. Emil Hallundbaek, aboard the DWB mare Calgrafi DWB (Boegegaardens Grafs Stakkato x Cajus) made it to second place with a time of 69.57 seconds. With only a few seconds behind, we have Lajacuma (Lycon x Rockwell) and Hendrik Dowe, settling for 3rd place.

On their second day of performance, the 5-year-olds seemed to find their way even better in Tops International Arena: out of 45 pairs of horses and riders, not less than 22 of them made a perfect round! After the first and second qualifiers, the Hannoveraner Verband leads the way with 674 points. Second place is owned by the Selle Français Studbook, with a total of 629 points earned during the first two qualifying rounds. Third Studbook on the podium is Zangersheide with 626 points.

On the ultimate class of the day, the French national anthem resonated in Valkenswaard. Emeric Georges rode Gengis Kann de Londe (Kannan x Diamant de Semilly) to victory in the first qualifier for the 7-year-old, with a nice clear round and a second phase time of 30.45. AES, represented by If Evers Girl (If Ever x Arko III) and Benjamin Bick, took second place with another round without penalties and a time of 31.37 seconds. Finally, Paraic Kenny and the ISH mare Bennys Lass (Tulibards Bennys Legacy x And Eshiba) completed the top three with a time of 32.12. The studbook results after this first 7-year-old qualifier perfectly represent the top three stated above, with team Selle Français Studbook rocking 319 points, followed by AES, which earned 294 in total after their 4th horses’ round, then ISH again, with 258 points.
