The WBFSH extends its sincere thanks to Ralph van Venrooij for his dedicated service as Executive of the Marketing Department, a role he has held since his election in October 2020 till 2025, when he took over the Finance Department.
Throughout his time on the Executive Committee, Ralph has been a highly valued colleague, generously sharing his extensive knowledge, experience, and thoughtful perspective while always approaching discussions with professionalism and kindness. His contributions have been greatly appreciated and have helped strengthen the work of the Federation.
While we will certainly miss his presence on the Executive Committee, we are delighted to see him embark on this exciting new chapter with HorseTelex and look forward to continuing our collaboration from a different perspective.
We wish Ralph every success in his new role.

KWPN - Press Release
Ralph van Venrooij to Leave KWPN
After seven years with the Royal Warmblood Studbook of the Netherlands (KWPN), Ralph van Venrooij, Manager Commerce & Breeding, has decided to leave the organization. Effective 1 September, he will take up the position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of HorseTelex, part of the EQAD Group.
Van Venrooij joined KWPN in September 2019 as Head of Breeding Affairs & Training Center. Prior to that, he served for four years as a member of the KWPN Breeding Council. He had already been closely involved with the Dutch equestrian sector through several leadership roles, including as a board member of the United Sporthorse Traders Netherlands (VSN) and Chairman of the Equine Sector Committee at LTO Netherlands.
Grateful for the Trust
I am leaving an organization that has been a significant part of my life over the past seven years. During my time at KWPN, I have had tremendous opportunities to grow professionally, and I am sincerely grateful for the trust placed in me by the breeders and for the opportunities I have been given. It has been a privilege to contribute to the continued development of KWPN, its breeding program, and its outstanding events. The energy and atmosphere of the KWPN Stallion Show and the KWPN Championships will always remain special memories. Joining HorseTelex represents an exciting opportunity and an important next step in my career. While I look forward to this new chapter, I will certainly miss working with the breeders, our members, colleagues, and the many committees and stakeholders that make KWPN such a remarkable organization.
A Dedicated Professional
KWPN Chairman Andries van Daalen commented: "With Ralph's departure, KWPN says goodbye to a colleague who will certainly be missed. Ralph is someone with a clear vision. He has always represented both his own convictions and those of KWPN with confidence, expertise, and determination. In addition to his professional contributions, I will also miss our many almost daily conversations and the pleasant cooperation we have enjoyed over the years. Ralph has served both our organization and the equestrian sector with great dedication and commitment. On behalf of the entire Board, we sincerely thank him for everything he has contributed to KWPN and wish him every success and enjoyment in his new role with our partner, HorseTelex."
