World Championships 2022

WBFSH International Young Breeder World Championships are to be hosted July 7-10, 2022 by the KWPN Studbook in Ermelo, Holland

    To participate in the Championships teams or individuals must first be aligned with a WBFSH member studbook who are, or become, members of the International Young Breeders organisation. The addition of new members to the IYB organisation is always welcome.

    The International Young Breeders World Championships 2022 will take place at the home of the KNHS and KWPN in the National Sports Federation of the Netherlands.

    Lots of events are organised at the National Equestrian Centre like the WBFSH World Championships for Young Horses (dressage), national championships and the KWPN championships.

    The 2022 Championships are scheduled to take place from 7th to 10th July 2022.

    World Championships Schedule

    Thurday 7th July

    - Opening ceremony

    - Theory test

    Friday 8th July

    - Judging of conformation and athleticism traits

    - Turnout a horse (team effort)

    - Fun competitions and getting to know each other

    Saturday 9th July

    - Presentation of horses in hand

    - Prize giving ceremony and celebrations

    Sunday 10th July

    - Farm excursion and learning about KWPN horses
