This year's General Assembly was held as a web-conferance hosted by British Breeding and successfully had 120 participants from 25 different countries.
Originally, the annual meetings and general assembly were planned to be held in Dresden hosted by the German sports horse studbook DSP, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the event was instead held as a webinar hosted by British Breeding.
However, the WBFSH annual meetings and general assembly 2021 will take place 10-13 October in Dresden, Germany.
At this year's general assembly, two board members were up for election. Frenchman Paul Hubert was re-elected and Eva-Maria Broomer from the United Kingdom was elected as vice-presidents.
Two studbooks have applied for memberships of the WBFSH, and both "Het Friesch Paarden-Stamboek" and "North American Studbook" were admitted membership.
