The first patroness of WBFSH, HRH Princess Anne of Great Britain was succeeded by HRH Princess Benedikte of Denmark, who is a horse breeder herself. She has bred no less than two approved stallions within Dansk Varmblod and 3 Grand Prix dressage horses. Two of those dressage horses figure on the current WBFSH ranking list with her daughter Princess Nathalie zu Sayn-Wittgenstein as their rider.
